(Invitational Event)
“Passion, Discipline and Intensity are the three most important factors that determine a Good Chef”
This was a Media Invite from ReachOutPr, a PR agency which had invited me earlier for the Guppy by Olive Bistro, Dario’s “Thalitalia” Food Tasting and 121 Kitchen & BarBQ food tasting. Aatif Algoria, Ruchita Puranik and Suraj Jhala from the PR team have been doing a fantastic job of arranging these events. It is always a pleasure meeting this young and dynamic team.
Kendall College, a leading culinary arts school in Chicago, Illinois, USA held a master class at JW Marriott, Pune on 12 September 2015, which was hosted by renowned International Chef Christopher Koetke, the Vice President of the School of Culinary Arts at Kendall College to generate awareness about culinary arts education and the many career opportunities it presents to students.
The Event was attended by Food Bloggers and Reviewers from Pune. The Foodies with the Food Master – Chef Christopher Koetke
(L-R) Michelle Mahabat, Priyanka Anand, Nitali Tadkalkar, Abhishek Ramgadia, Ritesh Tiwari, Satwik Shetty
The Chef prepared Roasted Tournedo of Salmon with Red Wine Sauce, Mushroom Snail Ragout, Salmon Sausage and Succastosh Salad to give us a gist of the experience student’s have at the Kendall College.
We were also lucky to have a very nice conversation with Chef Christopher Koetke over lunch wherein he shared his experiences from his visits to various parts of the world. Also shared his point of view to my question about the hotly debated topic in the food industry regarding the definition of “Authentic Food” and “Local Food”.
It was a pleasure to meet Chef Christopher Koetke and I hope to see him again some time in the near future.
YES, CHEF!
