The Food Prowl Team was invited for a food tasting of the signature dishes at Baan Tao which will be served all month long as well as the Indian Buffet Trail at Eighty Eight that will have cuisines from all over India served on Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout August. We were served some amazing Bengali Food curated by Chef Suvendu Roy.

Those who love Pan Asian Food and especially Sushi must visit Baan Tao this month.

We also did board the “Kolkata Burdman Mail” – the themed food festival at Eighty Eight and were served some lipsmacking dishes from the Bengali Cuisine. The Mutton Kosha, Chicken Dak Bangla and Misti Pulao were excellent.

As for the desserts, if we are talking Bengali Cuisine how could the dinner not end with Mishti Doi. Prepared with thickened milk and Jaggery, it’s very addictive and you might end up taking multiple servings.
