Nawab Asia is located opposite Poona Club. The restaurant lift takes you directly to the Varendah which is a tad dimly lit and a indoor restaurant seating that is much brighter. The restaurant does great business even on weekdays with guests streaming in as late as 11:00 P.M.
Shorba E Gulzar: Tomato Soup, not very sweet thankfully.
Kandhari Nalli Shorba : My colleagues tried this out and was decent enough.
Frontier Mix Grill Large: Assorted Non Veg Platter with chicken and lamb kebabs. The platter would be sufficient for 3 people.
Vegetarian Mixed Grill Medium: Sufficient for 2 people. Paneer, Baby Corn, Mushroom and Aloo Tikki
Murg Zaqand: Pieces of Chicken Tikka with medium spicy marination. Okay.
Lazeez Murgh Angara: Soft chicken pieces marinated in spices and yogurt. Good.
Lazeez Murgh Angaar: Very Well Prepared, Medium Spicy Brown Gravy with soft tender pieces of Chicken. Good.
Murg Lababdar: Chicken Tikkas marinated in red onion masala with capscicum and tomatoes. Nice.
Murg Punjabi Masala: Tender Chicken marinated in spices. Medium Spicy. Yummy!
Kadhai Paneer: Very Well Prepared. Medium Spicy.
Leechi Mojito was interesting, tasted good. The Classic Mojito was a flop. Too sweet for my liking.
Nutty Brownie with Ice Cream: Pretty Ordinary. Nothing really to write about.
Gulab E Gulkand: Gulab Jamuns with Rabdi and hint of Gulkhand
Food and Drinks are reasonably priced. Taste was good. They have a long list of Kebabs to explore. Service department needs improvement. Pretty slow at times. There should be more lighting in the Varendah.
Yet, overall a nice experience.
Definitely Two Thumbs Up
